2021 Centennial Mountain Nebbiolo (750mL)

Hailed by Antonio Galloni as “possibly the single greatest Nebbiolo I have tasted from the United States,” this wine demonstrates the elegant complexity that can be achieved through high-altitude viticulture. It opens with lifted aromas of dark cherry and violets, complemented by delicate notes of rose petal and wild herbs. On the palate, the schist soils express themselves through pronounced mineral tension, while layers of black raspberry, tar, and dried flowers unfold against a backdrop of refined, silky tannins. The drought-influenced vintage has produced a wine of remarkable concentration, yet the natural acidity provides exceptional balance and drive through the long, complex finish. This Nebbiolo's structure suggests it will continue to develop beautifully for the next 10+ years.
